progress, progress, progress!

The house is coming along.  Thanks to the arduous help of our brother Greg, who has been visiting for the past two weeks, we have made some definite progress in the house:

the chimney has been removed and safely stored at the nearby recycle center

the bathtub has been removed

the flooring in the bathroom and laundry room is mostly removed

the study has been walled in

the hallway walls are framed

the new beams are recessed in the kitchen and hallway

all the windows in the existing house have been replaced 

we have a beautiful new front door installed
